Our Manuscript Architecture & Concept Mapping is a dedicated, 30-minute meeting designed to set your manuscript up for success before stepping into a deep edit or detailed critique. This service is a live, one-on-one consultation with an editor, specifically designed to bridge the gap between your creative vision and the final reader's experience. It is important to know that the editor will not have read your manuscript before this meeting. Instead, this conversation is focused entirely on you guiding the editor through your creative intentions to ensure your project aligns with your publishing objectives and exits with a clear, tailored path forward for your writing. Please note before you book that we do not review or work with any manuscripts that contain occultism, obscenity, or sexually explicit language/content. This meeting will be recorded for documentation purposes. Eligibility & Booking Policy: This option is designed for authors ready to structurally map out their manuscript's baseline direction before entering production. For baseline industry questions or to discover our foundational publishing pathways instead, please select our General Inquiries option. Imprint Attendance Guidelines: There is a strict five-minute grace period for attendance. Arriving any time after this means you are only entitled to the remainder of your original scheduled half-hour slot. Please schedule accordingly. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy: If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please email us at author.empressroyale@gmail.com no later than 48 hours ahead of your scheduled time. You are permitted to reschedule once within a 14-day period. Failure to provide the required 48 hours' notice means your consultation fee will not be refunded, and the session becomes completely ineligible for rescheduling. If you no longer wish to meet and need to cancel your session entirely, please email us within our required windows. Cancellations made 5 or more days before your meeting date receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made 3 to 5 days before your meeting date receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the meeting are ineligible for a refund. Processing & Terms: It typically takes about 10 business days for a refund to be processed. Refunds will only be sent to the original payment method used in a charge.
