Service Description

Before diving into a deep edit or detailed critique, set your manuscript up for success with a focused, 30-minute manuscript strategy session. This service is a live, one-on-one consultation between you and a professional editor, specifically designed to bridge the gap between your creative vision and the final reader's experience. Note: The editor will NOT have read your manuscript before this meeting. Instead, this session is focused entirely on you, the author, guiding the editor through your intentions. Note before you book: We do not review any manuscripts that contain occultism, obscenity, or sexually explicit language/content. This meeting will be recorded for documentation purposes. There is a five-minute grace period. Any time after this, you are only entitled to the rest of the original scheduled half hour. Please schedule accordingly. *If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please email us (empressroyalepublishing@gmail.com) no later than 48 hours ahead of time to reschedule. You are only allowed to reschedule once during a 14-day period. Should you fail to give the appropriate 48 hours' notice, your consultation fee will not be refunded. *Cancellations made in less than 48 hours are ineligible for rescheduling. No refunds will be given. Should there be a need for cancellation (you no longer wish to meet): please email us no later than 5 days before your scheduled meeting date for a 100% refund. If you cancel 3-5 days before the meeting, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel within 48 hours before the meeting, no refunds will be given. It typically takes about 10 business days for a refund to be processed. Refunds will only be sent to the original payment method used in a charge.
